I didn't build this from theory.
I built it from survival.

Trauma-Informed Coach · Religious Trauma Specialist · Co-Founder

I grew up in a family shaped by poverty and instability. Education was my escape. I earned multiple scholarships, graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Biblical Studies, and spent years believing that if I just followed the rules—the religious ones, the relational ones, the cultural ones—everything would work out. It didn't.

I served in pastoral roles. I taught abstinence education. I married the man my church's prophet told me to marry. I became a trad wife, raised four kids, ran a business, kept a perfect house, and quietly lost myself inside a marriage that was never about love.

In 2011, after the stillbirth of my daughter Monroe, something cracked open. I started therapy—CBT, DBT, trauma-informed work, IFS. I started deconstructing everything I'd been taught to believe. I started learning, obsessively, about the nervous system, psychology, attachment, and why women like me keep ending up in systems—religious or relational—that teach us to disappear.

In 2021, I started sharing what I was learning on social media. I didn't have a business plan. I just needed other women to know: you're not crazy. You're not too much. Your body learned to survive. And there's a way back.

That community became this. And now, with Meagan, we're building the container I needed and couldn't find, so you don't have to spend years doing what I did.

I live on a 15-acre farm outside Charlotte with my four teenagers and young adults. I'm a proud LGBTQ+ ally. I continue to recover from complex PTSD, disorganized attachment, and the residue of relational and religious trauma. I'm not done healing. I'm just far enough ahead to light the way.

Sometimes women must answer each other's prayers.
